Great family accomodation

We arrived early at Sky View and they let us into our room three hours early because it was available (which is helpful when travelling with young kids). The rooms were really spacious and the kitchen lovely and modern. Was clean and tidy 🙂 We would stay here again if in the area!

A dream / unfortunately only one night

It was a short stay, but beautiful. The room was spacious, very well equipped, clean and felt new. The room was very large and beautiful. I would definitely recommend Sky View and also come back.

A fantastic place to stay, don’t let the website put you off

We spent 10 days in one of the studio apartments and wouldn’t hesitate to return here. The apartment was newly refurbished, with plenty of everything we needed and immaculate, the pool and bbq areas were equally well looked after. The manager was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. The location is excellent, just across the road from the park and beach beyond which was all but deserted. The website doesn’t do the place (particularly the rooms) justice, we couldn’t believe our luck.

Swimming at your doorstep

Great location close to 3 awesome beaches and a brilliant restaurant. Clean tidy plenty of space. 3 of us required a room each and this was no problem. Under cover parking. Clean swimming pool. Recommend for family’s.

Fantastic hosts, wonderful accommodation, good location

We have spent two weeks each on three separate occasions in one bedroom apartment with all mod cons, cleaned weekly, linen three times/week and hosts have now become our good friends – just very helpful and wonderful people – highly recommended.

Great Accommodation for Business or Pleasure

I have used and will continue to use the Sky View Units on numerous occasions for Business accommodation staying at any time from 5 days to 28 days. The one bedroom self contained unit ( 1 double and 1 single bed ) I stay in has every thing a person, couple or family require for comfortable quiet living. Ample room for a swag, trundle or fold up bed in the lounge area. The outdoor entertainment area including a large pool and undercover free BBQ area is unique in that it is close to all units. This area and the units are maintained to a very acceptable standard which is credit to the managers. On a beach front road opposite park land makes for a very relaxing stay. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great location, clean, quiet and friendly

We travel to Bowen each year for holiday and stay in the Sky View every time. It seems to get better and better each year. The managers, Shane and Jackie, are the loveliest and happiest people you will meet. A couple of times I have stayed they have even putting on a free BBQ of the local fish Shane had caught that day, inviting everyone in the hotel. Sky View is perfectly positioned with a large park and beach directly across the road (10 meters) with free BBQ’s and children’s play equipment. There is a bus service 30 meters away which goes around the beaches and into town (the main town center is just a few minutes drive), golf course 4 minutes drive, and Sunday markets in the park across the road! We absolutely love it and believe you will not be disappointed in your stay here.

Holiday in Bowen

Very quiet and very relaxing. Lovely staff – clean and friendly. Nice place for walks on the foreshore. Reasonably priced. Good cooking facilities. Plenty of parking. Wake up to birds singing. Well equipped. Need to ask for hair dryer. Good outside BBQ area.

What a great surprise to arrive at Sky View….we had two units, both were just immaculate, the best units we have ever stayed in, the lovely lady who welcomed us was so friendly….a bonus to find a laundry in the unit as well….highly recommended…great park across the road, markets on Sunday, and lots of walks, a beautiful area..

Myself and a work mate stayed at Skyview while on a recent work trip, the apartment was clean and tidy and it was great to have a kitchen.

Fantastic place to stay

We have stayed at these units before and highly recommend this place.We drove 14.5hrs and arrived to find a plate of home baked goodies waiting for us – (awesome). We have stayed here before and will stay there again. They offer great friendly service with clean tidy rooms. The location is absolutely fantastic – beautiful park and beach straight across the road and stunning Horseshoe Bay a leisurely 5min walk.

Great Business Base

We travel a lot around Australia on business and look for Hotels that are Easy. Expensive hotels sometimes forget to be friendly and accommodating.

This is one of the Easy and Friendly places. Nothing seems too much trouble, and it is nice to engage with people that just want to make you comfortable. From a short stay to a longer term base, this place is quiet and lets us get a good nights sleep – keep the washing in check and keep well nourished. A good value simple place that has the basics done well.

The Manager woke up & opened the office to check us in very late at night when No other Bowen Hotel would!

In addition to the impressive customer service, we only paid the same at this hotel for a brand new studio apartment, as we paid at Bundaberg for a Dive. This New studio at Bowen had in room laundry facilities and the best bed we’ve slept in during our last 10 hotel stays from the Gold Coast to Cairns over the preceding 4 weeks of travel.

Great family accommodation

Lovely, clean and spacious rooms. Our family consisted of three adults and three children and there was plenty of room and beds for us all in a two bedroom unit. Lovely big bathroom. Air conditioning was wonderful as the weather was very hot and humid when we were there. We made good use of the pool and BBQ area. Right across the road from parks and the beach. Only a few minutes drive from a shopping centre with Woolworths etc. Wonderful service at a reasonable price in a top position. Loved it. Thank you.

Great room, great location

Very accommodating management and lovely refurbished and clean room. Quiet with all facilities including a clothesline on the balcony. A nice smaller pool in good location for hotter months. Across the road to the beach and centrally located.

A Favourite

We have stayed in one of Sky View’s one-bedroom units on a number of occasions for up to two weeks at a time. While older, they are comfortable, clean and very well serviced.
The units are in a quiet location, across the road from Queen’s Beach and a short drive or pleasant walk from the lovely Cape Edgecumbe beaches.
The managers have always been most helpful and friendly, either when booking or while staying there.
We definitely hope to return.

Older, friendly and clean

The establishment is older, but the family unit we stayed in was very clean and tidy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. The only fault I could find was that the trundle beds did not have proper inner spring mattresses on them – anyone weighing more than 30 kg would not have a good nights sleep, and would be stiff and sore in the morning.

Quiet, Friendly, Clean

We really enjoyed our stay here, The rooms were very clean and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they create a very comfortable atmosphere. Very relaxing atmosphere

We have stayed here for work a few times in the last 3yrs. The atmosphere is very relaxing as it’s only across the road from the beach, what better way to end the day. The managers are the most friendliest we have met and are always willing to help in any way no matter what. Very tidy and clean units as well as the rest of the establishment. Would recommend this place for work or holiday accommodation.

Knight in Shining Armour

We were booked in to a Motel across the road on the beach front originally. But when we arrived and looked at the unit, we were so disappointed and could not of enjoyed our stay there. We went into Sky View Units and they were so understanding to our stress! They made us so welcome and let us look through the reburbished units (which were spotless), giving us a choice of upstairs or down. I would highly reccommend you chose to stay here. Great value

We stayed at the Sky View Bowen a few weeks ago now, there for a wedding at Horseshoe Bay. Friends of ours actually suggested staying there and we were so happy we did. We were lucky to stay at one of the newly refurbished rooms and could not fault it. The rooms were very tidy and clean and best of all the staff was lovely, very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Bowen.

My Family Favourite

I have been staying here ever since I was a child myself in a family of 5 children and even then it was a great family friendly place to stay. Now I have a family of my own its only gotten better. We stayed in a two bedroom unit which was newly refurbished and was very comfortable. There was more than enough room for all of us! There is a great big shady park right across the street on the beach which our daughter loved and good food was never far away either. The managers were great and this will definitely be where my family stays whenever in Bowen.

Private, relaxing and excellent value!!!

We were totally impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the managers. We stayed in a recently refurbished room, which was clean, comfortable and relaxing. With ample undercover parking, and a close walk to the markets (and beaches), I would gladly recommend Sky View Units to anyone seeking short or long-term accommodation. Amazing!

Excellent value for money

I could not recommend this place highly enough. GREAT value for money – spacious one bedroom unit with full kitchen and laundry facilities. It came with both air con and ceiling fans, and undercover parking. The unit was also exceptionally neat and tidy and the proprietors very friendly and helpful. The establishment is also situated right across the road from the beach. If you want to spend some time exploring Bowen and the surrounding Whitsunday region you couldn’t go wrong using Sky View Units as a base.

The manager/owners are the friendliest people and will do anything they can to make your stay a happy one. The rooms are very well appointed with every thing you could possibly need for a short or long term stay. We stayed 10 nights and wish we had longer. Great value

Stayed for a couple of days during December. Unit was very clean,tidy and comfortable.
Liberty was very nice and so helpful, gave up her car space so we could park the boat.
Pool area and BBQ well stocked with cutlery etc.
Good value for money will stay again when in Bowen

Lovely well appointed studio apartment fairly new looking. Tiled throughout. Nice size bathroom with shower. Kitchen with good size fridge stove top,sink and self contained. Microwave and air conditioner and fan. Would stay here again. Not far from Horse Shoe Bay and swimming beaches. Only a short drive to Woolworths for shopping. Great for a couple.

Excellent! Clean! Quiet!

We loved staying here. We arrived late with no booking, after being stuck in traffic due to a car accident. The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated, lovely and clean. New comfy bed. Had the best sleep. So close to the beach & Sunday markets. Thank you!!

Amazing, clean and easy

We absolutely loved our stay at Sky View Units. Beautifully renovated room for our family of 5. Nice and spacious with a king bed and singles for the kids. Everything we needed at our fingers tips in the self contained unit. Liberty and Jackie are beautiful people and made our stay even more special. An absolute credit to our impression of our first visit to Bowen (for family wedding). We even stayed 2 extra nights instead of moving down the coast we loved it so much. You can’t go past Sky View Units, they are close to everything you need or want to do in Bowen. We will definitely be back.

Much better than it looks from the street

We stayed one night in a refurbished room (number 4) which is really nice and modern inside. Good size two bedroom, main with King and modern bathroom with fantastic shower. Free wifi, easy walk to the beach, perfect. Only 5 mins drive to Bowen or a couple of minutes to the resorts.

Awesome location, walk to markets + horseshoe

Bowen is a fantastic town. Beautiful beaches and plenty of playgrounds. We stopped on our way from Gold Coast to Cairns for two nights.

The renovated apartments (we stayed in number four, booked through Airbnb) are excellent. Spacious, separate bedrooms, good kitchen and the complex has pool, BBQ, and laundry facilities.

The Sunday markets are just 200m down the road and across the road is a massive park with beach access and big shady figs. Horseshoe Bay, walking tracks, lookouts are an easy (I did it with a 3yo) walk. The sunsets are amazing.

A five minute drive and there’s a woollies, butcher, water park and car wash.

I wish I had more than two days in Bowen – especially given this awesome accommodation and it’s convenient location.

Clean, Comfortable, Affordable

Stayed in Sky view in a studio apartment for the weekend. Very spacious (not common in a studio), Clean and modern. Fully Self contained! Everything! Washing machine, clothes line, Iron! The receptionist is helpful and kind! Great value for money. Beautiful walk along the beach to Horseshoe Bay. Very impressed will be coming back.

The Sky View Units have the most amazing location in Bowen right on their doorstep. With fantastic friendly staff and extremely clean facilities this is definitely my favourite place to stay in Bowen. Close to the best walking tracks, snorkeling and the Sunday markets. Highly recommended.

More than meets the eye

Enjoyed two wonderful nights at Sky View,with the family in a two bedroom apartment. The unit block does not look much when you first arrive, old and yellow. We everyone an upgrade from our original room and were very impressed. The unit is fully renovated and very modern. Fully air-conditioned and spacious. The kitchen also has plenty of equipment.
Would recommend to anyone looking to visit horseshoe bay.

Highly recommended Fantastic place to stay.

2 bedroom units were spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do more for you. Free laundry facilities, free Wi fi and free bbq facilities. Pool had a shade cloth over the top, which was great cause it kept the pool temp down, plus shade. Motel right across the road from the beach and park, which also has free bbq facilities and play ground. Markets at the park every sunday.
